Hayato Sasugai(流石井 隼人, Sasugai Hayato) is a student of Ionodai High School and one of the main characters in Skate-Leading☆Stars.
Appearance
Hayato has blond hair, sharp green-blue eyes and thick grey glasses.
Personality
He is intelligent, calculated, and strategistic. Hayato first appeares as laid-back and weird to Kensei Maeshima. But after he reveals himself and his true intentions, Kensei Maeshima decides to help him.

- He has a pet cat named, "Shiratama".

Etymology
- The name Hayato means "falcon" (隼) (haya) and "person" (人) (to).
- Hayato's surname Sasugai means "as expected, though, as may be expected" (流石) (sasuga) and "well, mine shaft, pit" (井) (i).
